Abstract
Children diagnosed with ADHD, have a mean age of 10, are in the Grade 1 elementary level and are mostly males. The mean age where in symptoms of hyperactivity and inattention were observed were at ages 3 and 4 respectively. they are born and residing in Dasmarinas, Cavite and are Catholics. Only 1 patient had family history of ADHD. The mothers of the patients did not experience any maternal complications. Most of the children did not have any co-morbid conditions. Most of the participants are from the low socio-economic class. Parents of the participants are married, are high school graduates, and working either as a housewife or as part of the labor force. Children diagnosed with ADHD are exposed to either the television, internet or video games and show no particular preference when it comes to their diet.
