Abstract

This study is to determine risk factors associated with mortality in children or adolescent with dengue severe. Chart review of patients with dengue severe who died (cases) and dengue severe who survived (controls) admitted at 4 medical centers were done. Children who were less than 1 year old, state of drowsiness, malnourished and overweight are the risk factors of mortality due to dengue severe.
