Abstract

A case of a 19 year-old nulligravid, who presented with increase in abdominal girth, abdominal pain and headaches. Initial impression was ovarian new growth but intraoperatively, a cystic smooth mass, measuring 30.0x20.0x9.0 cm was found posterior to the left fallopian tube. Histopathology revealed papillary cystadenoma of broad ligament. This type of tumor when found in patients raises the suspicion of von Hippel-Landau disease hence proper diagnosis must be made to properly manage such cases.
