Abstract
Crossdressing, or wearing clothing associated with the opposite gender, is a form of self-expression that may influence how individuals view themselves and interact socially. This study, “Dressed to Impress: The Perceived Impact of Crossdressing on the Level of Confidence and Social Relationships Among Special Health Sciences Senior High School Students,” aimed to examine how non-crossdressing students perceive the effects of crossdressing on their peers’ confidence and social interactions. Using a descriptive research design, the researchers administered a survey questionnaire to randomly selected respondents from the Special Health Sciences Senior High School strand, and the data was analyzed through a statistical tool and interpretation. Findings revealed that non-crossdressers generally perceived crossdressing positively as it enhanced confidence and authentic self-expression. This study emphasizes the importance of inclusivity, awareness, and acceptance within the school community.
