The current coronavirus disease (COVID-19) outbreak has affected a great number of people which resulted to the government’s attempt of trying different strategies to spread awareness and inform the people on how they can prevent the transmission of the disease. Though our government tries to continuously educate the people about the virus, some are still unable to properly identify the correct preventive measures which they can do to prevent themselves being infected by the disease. This study aimed to determine whether the level of awareness and frequency of practices of the selected Senior High School students on COVID-19 prevention are adequate to prevent themselves from acquiring the disease through answering an online survey. The study’s findings suggested that majority of the students have been able to attain a high level of awareness; thus, they also frequently practiced preventive measures that are provided to protect them from the virus. The findings from this study encourage the continuous practice of the students in performing the preventive measures to prevent acquiring the disease. The results also recommend that the people in highly populated areas should be persistently educated about the virus to gain full control over the virus.
