Abstract
The virus called COVID-19 marked the third pandemic that has taken over the world. As the nation’s response, precautionary measures and action plans were implemented by the national and local council. This study aimed to ascertain the satisfaction of the City of General Trias, Cavite residents with regards to the performance of their local government authorities in relation to managing the crisis. Using the simple random and convenience sampling , a survey form was distributed to the selected respondents, through an online platform called Google Forms. The percentage, frequency, and weighted mean were used to describe the basic features of the data gathered, and ANOVA was used for variance observation. Age was the only factor that influenced their satisfaction. In general, the results showed that the selected communities were neutral in relation to the performance of the local government in managing the said pandemic. With this outcome, the local government unit should further improve their actions and services to combat the impact of covid-19 to the community.
