Abstract
The COVID-19 pandemic has caused everyone to make specific changes in their lifestyle. Especially Senior High School students, as they try to adjust to the so-called new normal. That means their social care, emotional wellness, diet, fitness habits, and academics have all taken drastic changes. This paper aims to figure out how the pandemic has caused significant changes in the life of a Senior High School student from public and private schools in Dasmariñas, Cavite. And to get results for their study, the researchers gathered 104 respondents, using the stratified
random sampling method, to answer a survey questionnaire with close- ended questions that assessed their social care, emotional wellness, diet,
fitness habits, and academics through Google Forms. The results would then be analyzed and presented in an infographic. Results have shown that quarantine has greatly affected the lifestyle of Senior High School students in terms of their social care, emotional wellness, diet, fitness habits, and academics. The results of this study will be meaningful to the parents to help the student cope with the current pandemic. Not only that, but this study could also help school administrators to help create a better learning environment for students in consideration of their current lifestyle. And most importantly, this study could help students assess their lifestyle and recognize adjustments they need to make for their routine.
