Compliance to the treatment regimen of type 2 diabetes mellitus patients in barangay Alapan 1-C Imus City, Cavite
Abstract
The focus of this study is to determine the treatment regimens, the level of compliance and the factors affecting compliance to treatment regimens of type 2 diabetes mellitus patients. The scope of this study is the level of compliance in terms of the treatment regimens of T2DM or type 2 diabetes mellitus patients. Subsequently, The type of diabetes in the study is limited to only one type. The chosen type of diabetes is T2DM or type 2 diabetes mellitus. Furthermore, the researchers will use questionnaires to identify the treatment regimens, assess the level of compliance to treatment regimens, and the factors affecting compliance treatment regimens in Barangay Alapan 1C, Imus City, Cavite regarding T2DM or type 2 diabetes mellitus. The researchers' encounter with the patients is only during the time allotted for the answering of the questionnaire.
