The assessment of zophobas morio (superworms) in decomposing polystyrene foams and polyethylene plastics
Abstract
In this study, the researchers will be focusing on the assessment of the capability of Zophobas morio (Superworms) to digest Polystyrene foams and Polyethylene plastics, which are abundant wastes on Earth. The researchers will observe the capability of Zophobas morio on decomposing/digesting. Moreover, the students will no longer test the moisture, nutrient, and types of bran that will be used and will focus more on the time of decomposition/digestion and the growth of the Superworm upon ingesting Polystyrene foam and Polyethylene plastics.
