Abstract

This study will be ascertaining the correlation in terms of age, family income, and frequency of the consumption of fast food to the level of knowledge on the possible threats of fast food among selected SHS students residing in dormitories. The selected dormitories, located in Dasmariñas, Cavite, are Antlers Place Dormitory, Dormbuilt, The One Dasma Place, and dormitories located within Villa Isabel, Manuela Ville and Villa Nicasia. The researchers would only ask questions in relation to the knowledge about the physical health risks of fast food consumption, the frequency of consumption of fast foods and age of the participants. The respondents of this study are only the grade 11 and 12 SHS students of DLSMHSI residing in dormitories that are aged 16-19 years old. This study would not include college students. This study would only be limited and be done by the Grade 12 researchers from 12-(9) Adolfo of De La Salle Medical and Health Sciences Institute-Special Health Sciences Senior High School.
