Abstract
Appedicitis is one of the most common surgical emergencies. Traditionally it has been treated by doing open surgery. However, with the advent of minimally invasive surgery, laparoscopic appendectomy has been gaining popularity. Laparoscopic appendectomy has several advantages over the open appendectomy like faster recovery and lesser post operative pain. This chapter aims to teach the reader on how to do laparoscopic appendectomy.
