Abstract
Tuberculosis (TB) is an airborne disease that can be spread from person to person. Children that are below 15 years old (also known as Pediatric Tuberculosis) have high probability to develop life threatening disease and the most substantial number of TB cases are observed in children younger than five years of age and adolescents older than ten years of age. The focus of this research is how the technology innovation was designed and developed to help doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals make better data driven decisions, optimize its current TB clinical diagnostic practices, and improve its process on determining the eligibility for TB Preventive Treatment (TPT).
