Abstract
Multi-stage randomized cross-sectional study with self-administered questionnaire were used. One hundred fifty (150) patients aged 0-6 years old were randomly recruited from the pediatric population old of the De La Salle University Medical Center (DLSUMC). Data was analysed using prevalence ratio and chi-square. Based on the results of the study there was insufficient evidence to support the claim that there is a relationship between socio-economic status and the prevalence of perceived food allergy among pediatric patients aged 0-6 years old in DLSUMC.
