Abstract
This study was conducted to determine the correlation between the perceived academic workload and well-being of the third-year radiologic technology (RT) students of De La Salle and Medical and Health Sciences Institute (DLSMHSI). This research study used the correlational research design. The data gathered were treated using frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, z-score, t-test for independent means, analysis of variance, and Pearson’s productmoment correlation. The respondents have moderate perceived academic workload while assessment was perceived as heavy. The respondents have average perceived psychological and social wellbeing. The respondents’ perceived academic workload does not significantly vary in terms of sex, monthly family income, time spent in using the eLearning platform/s except for type of internet connection provider and number of internet users at home. Respondents who are using postpaid plans and have more than three internet users at home have higher perceived academic workload. Sex, monthly family income, type of internet connection provider, and time spent in using the eLearning platform/s are not significantly associated to the psychological wellbeing except for number of internet users at home. Respondents with one to three internet users at home have higher psychological well-being compared to those with more than three internet users. The social well-being does not significantly vary in terms of sex, monthly family income, type of internet connection provider, number of internet users at home except for the time spent in using the eLearning platform/s. Respondents with increased time spent in eLearning platform has better social well-being. Weak negative correlation exists between the perceived academic workload and psychological and social well-being.
