Abstract

The study was conducted to determine the perceived readiness on clinical education of third year radiologic technology students of DLSMHSI. Moreover, the association between the demographic variables such as sex and section of the students was also analyzed. This study used a descriptive-quantitative research design. The respondents of the study are third year radiologic technology students A.Y 2021-2022. The data were gathered from February 3, 2022 to February 16, 2022 using a self-made questionnaire containing questions regarding the perceived physical, emotional, experiential, and knowledge readiness of the respondents. This was answered by 93 respondents. The gathered data were subjected to statistical treatments such as frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test for independent means, analysis of variance (ANOVA). Findings of the study showed that the majority of the respondents are female and from the section of RAD 3-1. The findings also revealed that most of the respondents' perceptions were somewhat ready in terms of physical, emotional, experiential, and knowledge readiness. In terms of the comparison of perceived readiness between the demographic variables, the results revealed that the respondents’ perceived readiness do not vary in terms of sex and section.
