Abstract
Descriptive method was used in this study. Purposive sampling was employed to select mothers in Brgy. Sabang Dasmarinas, Cavite as respondents. Data was gathered using questionnaires and supplemented with interview. The statistical tools used were mean, percentage, frequency and chi-square. The study concluded that, 1) Most of the respondents were 30-40 years old, reached high school level, unemployed, had 3-4 children, belonged to a nuclear type of family and received a monthly income of P10,000 and below; 2) Majority of the respondents preferred breastfeeding as their feeding technique; 3) Age, educational attainment, employment status, number of children, type of family and family income had significant differences on the preferred infant feeding techniques of the respondents.
