Abstract

This study utilized the type of descriptive method. A total of 117 radiologic/x-ray technologists were chosen using purposive sampling from selected hospitals in Cavite. Data was obtained using a self-made questionnaire and analyzed through frequency distribution, percentage, mean, standard deviation and t-test of independent means. The following conclusions were drawn: 1) Most of the respondents worked in tertiary private hospitals with more than two (2) hospital imaging modalities; 2) The respondents’ evaluation of availability and extent of professional development was verbally interpreted as available to a moderate extent; 3) There was no significant difference in the availability and extent of professional development when respondents were grouped according to types of hospital, classification of hospital and number of the hospital's imaging modalities.
