Abstract

The study involves all 372 senior high school students of the DLSHSI Senior High School. The researchers used the complete enumeration sampling. The descriptive method of research was employed to determine their level of awareness regarding the radiologic technology profession and a self-made questionnaire was used. The statistical tools that were utilized are frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, analysis of variance and t-test. Based on the results of the study, the following conclusions were drawn: 1) Majority of the respondents are female, most of their parent’s occupation are non-allied health related and most of them are from private junior high school; 2) The respondents were extremely aware of the radiologic technology profession; 3) The respondent’s gender, parent’s occupation and type of junior high school did not affect their level of awareness of the radiologic technology profession.
