Abstract

This study utilized the descriptive correlational research method. Using purposive sampling, there were 42 interns included as respondents. The data gathering instrument was a modified questionnaire from the research of Acenas, Bugaon and Mateo (2002). The statistical tools used to treat the data were frequency and percentage distribution, T-test, ANOVA (Analysis of Variance) and Pearson’s Correlation Coefficient. In the light of the findings made through the analysis and evaluation of the data obtained, the following conclusions were drawn: (1) Majority of the respondents were male; (2) Most of the interns had a mild level of anxiety; (3) The respondents had good clinical performance; (4) The level of anxiety of radiologic technology interns of De la Salle-Health Sciences Campus did not differ significantly when grouped according to gender and area of hospital assignment; (5) The clinical performance of the respondents did not differ significantly when grouped according to gender and area of hospital assignment; (6) The level of anxiety during internship and clinical performance of the respondents had a positive correlation.
