Abstract
The descriptive method of research was used. A total of 799 respondents were chosen as respondents using convenience sampling technique. The researchers employed a self-made questionnaire that measured the level of awareness on radiologic technology as a profession. Mean, frequency, percentage, standard deviation, t-test and f-test were applied in the data. The following conclusions were drawn: (1) Most of the respondents were female, from public schools and with a monthly family income of below P10,000; (2) The level of awareness of the selected senior high school students located in the 3rd District of Cavite were highly aware on radiologic technology as a profession; (3) The level of awareness of the selected senior high school students located in the 3rd District of Cavite were moderately aware on “Work of a Radiologic Technologists”; (4)Selected senior high school students have the same level of awareness of on “Radiologic Technology as a Profession” when grouped according to gender, type of school and monthly family income; (5) Heterogeneity existed in the level of awareness of the respondents on “Radiologic Technology as a Field” when grouped according to monthly family income.
