Abstract
The descriptive method of research was applied. Non-proportional quota sampling method was used to select 25 respondents per hospital, with a total of 100 respondents. A self-made questionnaire was utilized to measure the patients’ level of awareness on endometriosis who underwent pelvic ultrasound in selected hospitals. Data was analyzed using percentage, frequency, F-test, mean, standard deviation and T-test. Based on the findings, the following conclusions were derived: (1) Majority of the respondents belonged to 25 to 30 years old age bracket and single; (2) Majority were college graduate; (3) The level of awareness of the respondents on endometriosis undergoing pelvic ultrasound was aware to a limited extent; (4) There are no significant differences in the level of awareness on endometriosis among patients undergoing pelvic ultrasound when they are grouped according to age; (5) The respondents have the same level of awareness on endometriosis regardless of civil status; (6) The respondents have the same level of awareness on endometriosis regardless of level of education.
