Abstract

The descriptive method of research was used. A total of 150 respondents from the three (3) provinces were selected using purposive quota sampling. Self-made questionnaire was used. Data was analyzed using frequency, mean, standard deviation, percentage, t-test of uncorrelated means and f-test or one-way ANOVA. From the findings, the following conclusions were obtained: (1) Most of the respondents were male, married, 20 to 29 years old, with length of service of 1-5 years and receiving a monthly income of below P10,000; (2) Age is a significant factor in terms of extrinsic factor of job satisfaction. As age increases, job satisfaction also increases; (3) Province is a significant factor of job satisfaction in terms of extrinsic and intrinsic factor of radiologic technologists in Laguna, Batangas and Cavite; (4) Heterogeneity in the respondents’ evaluation on job satisfaction in terms of extrinsic and intrinsic factor was observed; (5) The respondents in Laguna were moderately satisfied in terms of salary rate of extrinsic factor of job satisfaction; (6) The variable that received the lowest mean under the extrinsic and intrinsic factor of job satisfaction are vacation leave, health insurance and personal development; (7) Laguna has the lowest job satisfaction among the three (3) provinces; (8) In general, the respondents were satisfied with their job in terms of extrinsic and intrinsic factors.
