This study used the descriptive correlational method of research in the analysis, evaluation and interpretation of the results of the study. A total of 900 women residents participated in the study, with ages of 30 years old and above using quota-sampling technique. The instrument used to gather data in measuring the awareness is a self-made questionnaire based on books and conceptual literatures about mammogram. The statistical treatments used in this study were frequency, mean, percentage, ANOVA, standard deviation, t-test and Pearson’s r. The results were the following: (1) respondents have low level of awareness towards mammography; (2) respondents have positive attitude towards mammography which means that respondents are willing to subject themselves to mammographic procedure; (3) no significant differences were found between the overall level of awareness when they are grouped according to family background while there are significant differences when grouped according to age, civil status, educational attainment, employment status family history and monthly family income; (4) no significant differences were found between the overall level of attitude of women when they are grouped according to age, civil status, educational attainment, family background, family history, and monthly family income while employment status does not have significant differences on attitude.
