Abstract

A quantitative descriptive design was used in the study and 31 participants were all the faculty members of the Department of PT CRS-DLSHSI. A five-point Likert scale self-made questionnaire contained close-ended questions and based on the components of the curriculum defined by CAPTE (2014) and AMEE (1999). Demographic profiles were analyzed using frequency distribution and percentage. Overall readiness of the curriculum plan of the Department of PT of CRS-DLSHSI for OBE was analyzed using mean. The results show that in terms of the inclusions and qualities of the objectives/learning outcomes, the curriculum plan has a strong indication for the level of readiness. In terms of the inclusions and qualities of content, it also has a strong indication for the level of readiness. For the inclusions and qualities of learning experience, it has strong indication for readiness. Lastly, for the inclusions and qualities of evaluation, it has a moderate indication for readiness of the curriculum plan. As for the overall readiness assessment, results show that the curriculum plan, has strong indication for the level of readiness for OBE.
