Abstract
The study focuses on the cardiac population admitted in DLSUMC from January 1999-June 2000. The purpose of this study is to serve as the stepping stone for the establishment of cardiac rehabilitation. During the process, cardiac patients were collected and were categorized according to age, sex, diagnosis. they were also categorized as to whether they are good candidates for rehabilitation. At this point, population was described accordingly. Results reveals high predominance of coronary artery disease patient, age bracket of 46-75, male gender and a significant number of patients who are good candidates for cardiac rehabilitation.
