Abstract
The research design is a developmental and validation study with a systematic review analysis. It involved a systematic review of difference related protocols and laws and regulations in the form of relevant studies, which underwent the steps of formulation of the research question and research protocol and conducting a literature research, data extraction, quality appraisal, data analysis and interpretation of results. The next step was the development of a telerehabilitation privacy and security protocol based on the findings and results of a systematic review. Lastly, the protocol underwent evaluation and validation by a panel experts in the field consisting of two (2) individuals: one (1) rehabilitation provider with experience in the provision of telerehabilitation services and one (1) information technology expert. The results showed that a telerehabilitation privacy and security protocol can be developed using the systematic review approach to guide the telerehabilitation providers of the College of Rehabilitation Sciences in providing quality services in terms of privacy and security to the patients receiving telerehabilitation services.
