Abstract

This study focuses on the most common musculoskeletal complaint of Garment Factory workers at Champan Garment Factory. The researchers have reasons to believe that garment factory workers perform work in pain due to the nature of their work. This study would like to determine their most common musculoskeletal complaint as well as the demographic factors that are concerned in this study. the participants in this study consists of 160 garment factory workers from Champan Garment Factory belonging to any age, gender and civil status. the study utilized a descriptive method of research design wherein it aims to determine the most common musculoskeletal complaints of workers in Champan Garment Factory. the subject were selected by convenience sampling. The subjects were presented with a survey questionnaire and the results was tallied and tabulated for presentation. The study reveals the Back Pain is the most common musculoskeletal complaints among garment factory workers at Champan Garment Factory followed by Legs/Foot pain regardless of age, sex, civil status, nature of work and body positions at work. the study concludes that the most common complaint of garment factory workers at Champan Garment Factory is Back Pain followed by leg/foot pain.
