Abstract
Balance play a crucial in safety and comfort for it allows an individuals to react to destabilizing external forces during self-initiated movements. Posture on the other hand, is used to perform activities with least amount of energy expenditure thereby decreasing stress and fatigue. The general objective of the study is to determine the perception of rehabilitation clinicians to the proposed Double-A-Bars as a possible balance training device for neurologic patient. The researchers used a descriptive type of design. The researchers have gathered studies regarding body weigh suport system and balance training from internet, books and articles. The researchers designed and fabricated the device and then constructed questionnairre that is composed of a ckecklist, which has rating for each feature of DAB that was subjected into validity and was pre-test. It was also noted that it was moderately ready to operate and place the pulley system and scale and because of this, clinicians perceived that it was easy to accomplish balance exercises inside DAB. However, clinicians mentioned that what they liked most about the DAB was it provides more stability, safety and mobility, promotes posture overlook in patients and offers least assistance to patient during therapy.
