Children with special needs with an age range of 0-21 years old were selected based on the criteria in selected barangays in Dasmariñas City. Data analysis used are frequency and percentage. The researchers concluded that the males were more prevalent than females in the age range of 7-10 years old. Majority were from families with low-income capacity of Php5000/month. The parents and siblings were the primary monetary supporters in which a high satisfactory rate was achieved. Majority of the respondents were currently not enrolled due to financial constraints. On the other hand, for those who were enrolled are engaged in special education programs. Majority were assessed by an education expert and recommended the report to school. In terms of rehabilitation profiles, many were assessed by health professionals like PT's, OT's and SLP's however, many were unable to sustain these services. The domains of cognition and speech, language and communication were the most common domains to be affected. Inappropriate behavior, poor endurance, difficulty in performing fine motor movements and difficulty in performing tasks expected from the same age group were observed in terms of psychosocial, physical, psychomotor and self-help/adaptive function domains respectively.
