Abstract
The study is a descriptive-quantitative and was held in Brgy. Sampaloc IV, Dasmarinas City, Cavite with 37 parents of children with disability. Convenience sampling techniques was used in the study. The researchers used the self-made questionnaires which consist of five different setting with seven to eight sub-categories of each setting as the accessibility features derived from Accessibility Law or Batas Pambansa Blg. 344 as a survey tool for the selected community and was handed to the said population to answer. Data was analyzed through mean and percentage. The results showed that the community area such as school, supermarket, rehabilitation center, and church had high accessibility while retail store had average accessibility. The community of Dasmarinas City, Cavite specifically, Brgy. Sampaloc IV had high accessibility for children with disabilities but may need additional improvements. The community is compliant to current standards in accordance to Batas Pambansa Bldg. 344 or Accessibility Law in almost all areas.
