Abstract

Cross-sectional, quantitative, analytical design was utilized that uses stratified proportionate sampling to obtain a sample size of 90 respondents which answered an adapted modified questionnaire from Schwartz and Cymrot (2020) using the HCC instrument. Descriptive statistics was used to analyze the sociodemographic characteristics of the participants, and the factors affecting career paths. By computing the p-value using the Fisher Exact test set at alpha 0.10, its association was determined. The study concluded that the COVID-19 pandemic did not cause the alumni to consider a career shift, rather, it led them to realize how important their profession is an increased their sense of duty.
