Abstract

Descriptive, non-experimental type of research design was used in this study. The respondents of the study composed of 51 family members of critically-ill patient at De La Salle University Medical Center. The sampling technique that was used in the study was the non-probability convenience. The researchers used a checklist type of questionnaire and data was analysed using f-test, frequency distribution, mean, and t-test. Based on the findings, the computed mean of 3.21 with a standard deviation of .44 presented that the coping of family members of critically-ill pediatric patients in terms of social, emotional, physical, and spiritual aspects were good levels of coping.
