Abstract

Specifically this study aimed the following: 1. To determine the profile of the respondents in phase 2 Barangay Anahaw Bulihan Silang, Cavite in terms of: a. age b. sex. c. civil status d. occupation e. religion f. educational attainment g. monthly income 2. To determine the perception of the respondents regarding the services rendered by Canossa Health and Social Center in Phase 2 Barangay Anahaw Bulihan Silang, Cavite in terms of: a. Health Services b. Income Generating Project c. Spiritual Services d. Educational Assistance 3. To determine the difference in rendering services when the respondents are grouped according to: a. age b. sex c. civil status d. occupation e. religion f. educational attainment g. monthly income. This study focused on the perception of the results of the residents of phase 2 Barangay Anahaw by Canossa Health and Social Center. The total number of respondents were 1,389, considering their age, sex, civil status, occupation, religion, educational attainment and monthly income, they were residents of phase 2 Barangay Anahaw Bulihan Silang, Cavite. In terms of the profile of the respondents, majority of them were married, female and belong to the Roman Catholic religion most of them belong to the age bracket between 30-44 year old. Most of them had been receiving a monthly income of P3,001-5,500 pesos and most of the respondents were non-professional. As to the perception of the respondents regarding the services rendered by Canossa it has an overall mean of 4.26 which was interpreted as "strongly agree". In rendering services, age, sex, civil status, occupation, religion, educational attainment and monthly income play a highly significant role in the participation of the respondents towards the services rendered by Canossa. Based on the findings, the results of the study, the researchers concluded that age, civil status, religion, educational attainment and monthly income were highly significant in determining the response of the respondents towards the services rendered by Canossa. Moreover, as to the gender of respondents, there is no significant difference. Meaning, this does not affect their perception on the service of Canossa.
