Abstract

This study aims To be able to determine the level of satisfaction of patients in the care received from the staff nurses in selected non-government hospitals in Cavite B.SPECIFIC 1. To know profile of the respondent in terms of age, gender, religious affiliation, civil status, socio-economic status, and educational attainment. 2.To determine the level of satisfaction of patients in the care received from the staff nurses in selected non government hospitals in Cavite. 3.To determine if there are significant differences on level of satisfaction when respondents are grouped according to age, gender, religious affiliation, civil status, socio=economic status and educational attainment. The study is centered on the analysis of the level of satisfaction of patients in the care received from the staff nurses in the selected Non-Governmnet Hospitals in Cavite, namely. De La Salle University Medical Center , Jose P. Rizal National Memorial Research Center, Medical Center Imus and Our Lady of Pilar Medical Center. Variable used in this study include age, gender, religious affiliation, civil status, socio economic status and educational attainment. This study was limited to 1-respondents from selected hospitals in Cavite. A total pf 100 respondents both male and female. Single or married, who were admitted in the selected hospitals participated in the study. From the given findings, these were the conclusions formulated 1.Most of the respondets were 21-30 years old, female, Roman Catholic, married, earned at least Php 10,000 monthly and had attainment a college degree. 2.The level of satisfaction of patients in the care received from staff nurses in terms of the physical component and psychological component were ranked as moderately satisfied while the spiritual component was ranked as satisfied. Thus, the overall level of satisfaction patients in the care received from staff nurses was found out to be moderately satisfied. 3.There were no significant differences in their level satisfaction when the respondents were grouped according to age, gender, religious affiliation, civil status, socio-economic status and educational attainment.
