Abstract

This study aims  To determine the level of compliance to treatment modifications of patients undergoing hemodialysis in National Kidney and Transplant Institute B. SPECIFIC: To determine the: 1. Profile of the patients undergoing hemodialysis in terms of age, gender, monthly income, educational attainment, employment status, presence of support system and duration of treatment. 2. Level of compliance to treatment modifications of patients undergoing hemodialysis in National Kidney and Transplant Institute 3. Significant differences in the level of compliance to treatment modifications of patients undergoing hemodialysis when grouped according to age, gender, monthly income, educational attainment, employment status, presence of support system and duration of treatment. The study focused on the deltermination of the level of compliance to treatment modifications of patients undergoing hemodialysis in National Kidney and Transplant Institute. The study dealt on the following demographic factors such as age, gender, monthly income, educational attainment, employment status, presence of support system and duration of treatment.  The following findings were drawn from this study. 1. Most of the respondents are age 61 and above, male, were able to finish college, unemployed, earns a monthly income of Php 10,000 and below, currently living with children and the duration of treatment 19 months and above. 2. The level of compliance of patients undergoing hemodialysis is generally moderate. 3. The level of compliance of patients undergoing hemodialysis was not affected primarily by age, gender, educational attainment, employment status, monthly income, presence of support system and duration of treatment.
