Abstract
OBJECTIVES OF THE STUDY: This study investigated the level of self-esteem of institutionalized teenagers of Mama's Hope Haven of Norway in General Trias, Cavite, Home of Joy in Dasmariñas, Cavite, Kanlungan sa ER-MA (Ermita-Manila) in Ermita, Manila and Kanlungan sa ER-MA (Ermita-Manila) in Alfonso, Cavite and parent-raised teenagers of Anreaville Subdivision, Dasmariñas, Cavite, SPECIFIC: b.To determine the profile of the respondents when grouped in terms of: (a) age, (b) gender, and (c) social support; c.To determine the level of self-esteem of the institutionalized teenagers; d.To determine the level of self-esteem of the parent-raised teenagers; e.To determine the significant difference on the level of self-esteem of the Institutionally-raised and parent-raised teenagers when grouped in terms of: (a)age, (b) gender, and (c) social support; and f.To determine the significant difference on the level of self-esteem between institutionalized teenagers and parents-raised teenagers.
