Abstract
The study used a descriptive research design. Respondents composed of 26 nurses, 40 midwives, and 43 barangay health workers (N=109) were selected through purposive sampling technique. The research instrument used was a self-made questionnaire. Data was analyzed through mean and f-test. The study concluded that rural health workers have a good perception on the “Ligtas Tigdas 2004” program in the rural health units in Imus and Bacoor, Cavite. There is no significant difference in the level of perception of the nurses, midwives, and barangay health workers on the “Ligtas Tigdas 2004” program in the rural health units in Imus and Bacoor, Cavite.
