Abstract
This study used qualitative research design using purposive sampling technique. Respondents were older persons who are 60 years old and above who are still in the labor force. Interview through audio taping was utilized and guide questions were used to gather information. In analyzing the data, Colaizzi’s method was utilized to answer the question "What are your experiences in working in spite of your old age?" Older persons' descriptions of experiences differ depending on the different situations that they encounter. Those who are still working are those who are hardworking and feel bored when they do not have anything to do. Older persons uphold more ego integrity over ego despair because they feel happy and contented with what they have accomplished in their lives.
