Abstract
The study utilized the quantitative non-experimental descriptive research design. The study included 350 young adults from Brgy. Sabang, Dasmariñas City using convenience sampling. The instrument that was used was an adopted-modified questionnaire from the unpublished undergraduate study of Cipriano and Cubi (2007). Data was analysed using frequency distribution, percentage, mean, Analysis of Variance (ANOVA), and t-test. The profile of the respondents showed that majority were females, college graduates, have private or doctor's clinic as their preferred source of medical care. The respondents strongly agreed on the use of herbal supplements. There was no significant difference in the perception of respondents regarding the use of herbal supplements when grouped according to monthly family income and preferred source of medical care but when the respondents were grouped according to educational attainment and gender there were significant difference.
