Abstract
The study utilized a quantitative, descriptive and non-experimental research design and was conducted with clients who have undergone caesarean section two days post operation at the General Emilio Aguinaldo Medical Hospital in Trece Martires City, Cavite. Respondents were identified using convenience and accidental type of sampling. A modified checklist type of questionnaire was utilized as instrument. Data was analysed using frequency distribution in percentage, mean, t-test, and f-test. Most of the respondents were 28 to 32 years old, with family support system, and multi-para. The clients who had undergone caesarean section in a tertiary hospital were able to perform activities of daily living with assistance. There were significant differences in the performance of activities of daily living according to age and parity and no significant difference in the performance of activities of daily living when grouped according to family support system.
