Abstract
The study utilized a descriptive, non=-experimental quantitative research design. Using Cochran's formula, the sample size obtained was 120 respondents. The respondents of the study were selected using non-probability purposive sampling and snowball sampling techniques. The research tool used in the study is an adapted-modified questionnaire. Statistical tests were percentage, mean, standard deviation, Mann Whitney U, and Kruskal Wallis H Test. The study concluded that, 1) Majority of the respondents were 18 to 29 years of age; most of them were female. Engagement in telehealth consultation to address a health concern was the most common reason why the respondents utilize this service. In terms of how many times they have consulted via telehealth, most of the respondents have already consulted twice, 2) The respondents perceived telehealth as very useful, very easy to use, very satisfactory, effective, and patient-centered. This constitutes that telehealth consultations provided a high quality of care. This form of modality showed that despite the limitation of movement brought about the COVID-19 pandemic, there is an uncomplicated and effective approach to access healthcare. Moreover, telehealth is an efficient platform to receive healthcare since it provides emphasis on the health concern of the patients and elicits satisfaction among patients as well, 3) Patients in Indang, Cavite view telehealth consultation as useful, easy to use, effective, patient centered, and satisfactory regardless of their age, sex, and reasons for consultation. However, patients who had been in more telehealth consultations have a better perception of telehealth compared to those who had been in fewer sessions. The provision of telehealth focuses on the community as a whole and is not specific for a certain age group or sex, as its goal is the delivery of healthcare to the different areas of the community. Correspondingly, this service is getting more recognition and appreciation as expected health outcomes are met through this modality.
