Abstract
The study utilized a descriptive-analytical method using the quantitative non-experimental approach. The study employed purposive and judgmental sampling where 31 nursing faculty of De La Salle Medical and Health Sciences Institute chosen in the study. A self-made tool for the survey questionnaire was formulated by the researchers. Data was analyzed through frequency, percentage, weighted mean and Chi-square. The study concluded that the respondents are mostly above or equal to 45 years old, female, have less than 16 years of teaching experience, and are full-time faculty members of the College of Nursing of DLSMHSI. The respondents scored highest in the conference category, which is verbally interpreted as moderately used. Followed by the recorded category which is verbally interpreted as less used, and lastly, the application category which is verbally interpreted as less used. The use of innovative teaching strategies had no significant difference when the respondents were grouped according to age, years of teaching experience, and employment status. However, a significant difference was found when they were grouped according to sex.
