Abstract
The researchers utilized the analytical research method in this study. The research instrument used is a self-made questionnaire. To obtain the data, purposive sampling was used and a total of 229 nursing students of DLSMHSI participated in the study. The results were determined using the Kruskal Wallis Test Value and Mann Whitney U Test, together with other statistical treatments such as Weighted Mean and Standard Deviation. The following conclusions are drawn: 1) Most of the respondents are year level 2 and year level 3, and have an income of P76,669-P131,383. Majority are female, 2) Environmental stress factors are experienced to a high extent in utilizing home-based alternative learning modalities, 3) First year nursing students, and the middle class are more likely to experience a high extent of stress while utilizing home-based alternative learning modalities.
