Abstract

This is an assessment of PHC in Brgy. Talaba, Bacoor, Cavite. Specifically this ought to answer the following questions: 1. How do people understand the PHC? 2. What health improvement of the community do they observe in terms of: a. health status b. health coverage 3. What are the factors which people perceives as promotive as well as determent to the implementation of PHC. This study utilized the descriptive method. This study is appropriate since the study wants to describe the different variables exist in this study. This study will attempt to determine their perception, its health improvement in terms of health status, health coverage and the factors that people perceived in the promotion of PHC in Brgy. Talaba, Bacoor, Cavite regarding the assessment of PHC. Based on the findings gathered, the researchers could conclude that: 1. The study showed that people differs in their perception and understanding PHC, thus accepting the first. 2. The study showed that there is a significant difference in the people's observation of the PHC in terms of health coverage and health status, thus accepting again the second hypothesis. 3. The study showed that there is no significant difference in the factors affecting the promotion of PHC as implemented and perceived by the people of Brgy. Talaba, Bacoor, Cavite, thus accepting the third hypothesis.
