Abstract
The study utilized the descriptive non-experimental type of research and was composed of 100 primigravida mothers regardless of their age, civil status, educational attainment, employment status, and religion form the different aforementioned locales. They were chosen through purposive sampling. A self-made questionnaire was used and data was analysed using percentage, mean, t-test, and Analysis of Variance (ANOVA). Most of the respondents from the selected communities in Imus City were 20-24 years old, married, attained college level of education, unemployed, and professed Catholic faith. The respondents have a moderate knowledge regarding postpartum depression. There was no significance difference in the level of knowledge of primigravida mothers regarding postpartum depression when they were grouped according to age, civil status, educational attainment, employment status, and religion.
