Abstract
Diarrhea, pertussis and common colds are the three most prevalent diseases of infants in Brgy. Burol Dasmariñas, Cavite. According to the respondents perception, food and water, changes in the weather condition and lack of immunization are the factors that greatly affect the occurrence of such diseases. They consult a doctor whenever such diseases arises. As preventive measures, they ever such diseases arises. As preventive measures, they keep their environment clean and their bodies clean and healthy. And the parents see to it that their children get to eat proper meal at the proper time. The three most prevalent disease of infants in Brgy. Burol, Dasmariñas, Cavite are diarrhea, pertussis and common colds. According to the peoples perception the factors affecting these diseases are food and water, changes in the weather condition and lack of immunization, the usual response made by the people is to consult a doctor whenever such illnesses arises. As preventive measure, they keep their environment clean and their bodies clean and healthy. And the parents see to it that their children get to eat proper meal at the proper time.
