Abstract
This study used descriptive cross sectional research design. Simple random sampling technique was used. After further testing and assessing it the 88 sample that was obtained and was cultured into the media. And no growth of staphylococcus aureus and pseudomonas aeruginosa was found in all the site in the pediatric ward. The study concluded that out of the ten suspected organism that were subjected to VITK® 2, staphylococcus aureus and pseudomonas aeruginosa did not come out from the result. Aeroccus viridan and staphylococcus hominis are the most prevalent, followed by micrococcus luteus, staphylococcus haemolyticus and alloioccus otitis. The remaining four suspected organisms are unidentified.
