Abstract

TikTok is a social media platform that is very influential to the people all over the world, especially the students. By creating, sharing videos, skits, filters, and many more, it takes people to another community where they can express their true emotions. This research study focuses on the influences of the TikTok application on senior high school students’ study habits, its usage, and perceptions of its advantages and disadvantages. The researchers adopted a phenomenological qualitative approach and a criteria sampling method in order to gather the data they needed to comprehend how participants interpreted the study. Thematic analysis is used to methodically gather and arrange the data in order to identify the different points of view and perspectives of the respondents towards TikTok. Study habits enable students in developing their time management abilities between academics and their own time. Some students do not have it since they feel effectively without it. Instead, they utilize the program for other reasons.
