Abstract
The aim of this paper is to assess the perceptions of adults on the effectiveness of oregano leaves for cough in Medicion 1- C, Imus City, Cavite. 112 adults from ages 45 to 55 are randomly chosen to answer the questionnaire. To achieve credible results, percentage and mean was used and the data was subjected to statistical analysis. Results showed that majority of the female respondents with college degree uses oregano. 100 % of the respondents agrees that herbal supplements is more accessible and convenient. Data also showed that females are more knowledgeable regarding the topic especially in terms of usage and awareness. The overall results showed that Oregano is an effective remedy in treating the common cough.
