Abstract

The study will focus on the relationship of how the shifting schedule could affect the quality of care rendered by the nurses working in emergency rooms in terms of the level of productivity, efficiency, diversity and communication. The study will also focus on Emergency Room (ER) nurses as the main respondents of the study. The survey that will be distributed will only contain questions regarding the different parameters of measuring the quality of care given by the Emergency (ER) nurses. However, the study will not focus on determining which particular shift is more effective or helpful to the nurses in giving care towards their patients, it will also not cover other hospitals from the locale being mentioned. The study will not get data from other nurses but emergency nurses only. Also, the study will not acquire data from nurses that do not work in tertiary level hospitals. The data gathering process will be performed during the year 2020 and not beyond or before 2020.
